Matthew F. Keefe
Matthew Keefe is the President of HK Group and has led the Investment Sales Division of the Company for the last three decades. His professionalism, creativity and hard work have created relationships with hundreds of valued and repeat clients.
Mr. Keefe has closed billions of dollars in off market transactions and millions of square feet of real estate during his tenure at the HK Group. They have included tax oriented sales, sale / leaseback, hospitality transactions, multifamily, medical, portfolio deals, the largest warehouse and multifamily deals in Connecticut and complex retail / medical conversion transactions.
Mr. Keefe has run HK Group as a boutique, highly professional and confidential real estate brokerage firm for decades. As the firm enters a new era of investment and development, he and HK’s Head of Investment and Development have involved the firm and its practice in six major new developments.
Mr. Keefe graduated from Georgetown University with a BA / BS and lives with his wife in Southport, Connecticut after raising four children. Mr. Keefe is active in local civic and charitable organizations.
Executive Vice President
Franco Fellah’s involvement in United States real estate began in the very late 70’s. From Milan, Italy, between 1979 and 1990, Mr. Fellah’s family syndicated acquisitions of prime property in central Manhattan and other parts of the US in conjunction with a New York City based firm.
In 1994 Mr. Fellah was offered a position of Senior Vice President at a Westport, CT commercial real estate firm. During the five years with that firm, Mr. Fellah handled, among other projects, assignments including a 130,000 SF Sears anchored shopping center in Texas, the sale of a 50,000 SF Class A office complex in New London, CT, eventually 100% leased to Pfizer, the sale of an entire retail and office block on Main Street Ridgefield, CT to a Connecticut-based REIT, the sale of a 31-unit luxury condo building in Prospect Park Brooklyn and the sale of over 210 apartments in two buildings in Waterbury, CT.
In 1999, Mr. Fellah joined HK Group where he is currently Executive Vice President: his focus with the firm has been investment property sales, user buildings and retail and office leasing throughout Fairfield County, representing both landlords and tenants. His extensive and in-depth knowledge of the retail and office rental markets is an asset that both landlords and tenants can count on when searching for the perfect space to lease or to get a market valuation or assessment to prepare their property for a sale.
A sample of real estate transactions that Mr. Fellah has been part of while at HK Group include the $17.7 million sale of the 200,000 SF Torrington Fair shopping center in Torrington, CT, the $12.53 million sale of a 90,000 Shaw’s anchored shopping center in Tilton, NH, the $13 million sale of a 32,873 SF office building at 276 Post Road West Westport, CT and two long-term pharmacy leases with CVS as a tenant in Norwalk, CT with an aggregate value in excess of $23 million. He also has been part of the broker team that finalized the sale of 38 Main Street for $9.2 million and 44 Main Street for $22.5 million, both located downtown Westport.
Mr. Fellah’s main objective while conducting the real estate business is to work with honesty and integrity while aiming to achieve his clients’ complete satisfaction with his services.
Mr. Fellah, a resident of Westport, Connecticut, is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the states of Connecticut and New York: he graduated with top grades from the Universitá degli Studi in Milan, Italy and holds a degree in Political Science with a major in International Studies.
Andrew F. Keefe
Head of Investment & Development
Andrew F. Keefe joined HK Group in 2016 as Head of the Investment & Development Division. Mr. Keefe's primary function is sourcing and executing private equity real estate transactions on an opportunistic basis. Since 2016, HK Group has worked on transactions in all major commercial real estate asset classes, from Mississippi to New Hampshire.
Prior to joining HK Group, Mr. Keefe worked at Bank of America in Manhattan, specializing in esoteric financings for ultra high-net-worth individuals. Most recently, Mr. Keefe worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division in the Industrials industry group. At Goldman Sachs Mr. Keefe executed a variety of transactions for his clients, including Advisory/M&A, Debt and Equity Public Offerings, Private Equity Investments, and various Structured Finance transactions.
Mr. Keefe graduated magna cum laude from Elon University with a BS in Finance, and minors in Spanish and Accounting, and is a resident of Stamford, CT.
Ricardo E. Cordido, CCIM
Ricardo E. Cordido comes to HK Group from Realty Concepts Inc., a Guilford, CT based commercial real estate consulting, brokerage, and advisory service company. His responsibilities there included developing market research, site analysis reports, and asset management and due diligence research for acquisition and lending.
Prior to joining Realty Concepts Inc. Ricardo attended Roger Williams University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Ricardo’s family has a medical background in New Haven County and as such, the medical industry will be his focus at HK Group. He will be leasing medical office space as well as working in medical investment sales. Ricardo speaks fluent Spanish.
Ricardo is an active member in the New Haven CID and at the Quinnipiac Club, and currently resides in Hamden, CT.
Mal Jacobson has been involved in Commercial Real Estate for the past 30 years, 19 of those years with HK Group. His transactions include the purchase and sale of local office and retail buildings and recently the sale of auto dealership property and the leasing of retail space to national retail tenants. Mr. Jacobson’s performance is high lighted by his increasing production every year culminating in a highly successful 2008.
Prior to his entry into real estate, he had been involved in the retail and financial world, most recently as a marketing executive for a large hedge fund.
Born in South Africa, he emigrated to the United States in 1977 with his wife and three sons. He became an American citizen in 1983 and has lived in Westport since arriving in the US in 1977. In South Africa, he was the Chief Financial Officer, Director and Co-Founder of what became the largest supermarket group in South Africa.
He is a graduate of the University of Witwatersrand in Johnnesburg, South Africa with a Chartered Accountant degree, the equivalent of a CPA designation in the United States.
P. Patrick DeJesus
Partner, Investment & Development
Patrick DeJesus joined HK Group in 2019 as a Partner within the Investment & Development Division. Apart from his role in growing the Investment & Development business, Mr. DeJesus also works with HK Group’s Investment Sales Division.
Prior to joining HK Group, Mr. DeJesus spent nearly 7 years in Institutional Sales as Vice President with FBR Capital Markets (Now B. Riley FBR) advising mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, family office and high net-worth clients ranging from $25 million to $1 trillion in assets under management. During his time at FBR, Mr. DeJesus successfully raised capital for REITs and other Financial Services companies through IPOs, Private Placements, Secondary Offerings and SPACs.
Mr. DeJesus graduated from Elon University with a BS in Finance and currently resides in Greenwich, CT with his wife.
Luke Pullman, CFA
Partner, Investment & Development
Luke Pullman joined HK Group in 2019 as a Partner in the Investment & Development Division where he is focused on sourcing and executing real estate private equity transactions. In addition to his role within Investment & Development, Mr. Pullman also supports HK Group’s brokerage services and consulting activities.
Prior to joining HK Group, Mr. Pullman was a Director at Oxford Finance LLC, a specialty finance company that provides debt and equity capital to companies across the healthcare industry. As Director, Mr. Pullman underwrote and executed transactions totaling more than $250 million in growth capital to life sciences and healthcare companies and supported Oxford Finance’s special situations group. Mr. Pullman began his career at Lockheed Martin Corporation in the Financial Planning & Analysis division, where he was responsible for long range forecasting of the company’s $10 billion information services business unit.
Mr. Pullman graduated from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder. He currently resides in Norwalk, CT, with his wife.
Nichole Paulino joined HK Group in 2018, and obtained her Real Estate License shortly thereafter.
Prior to joining HK Group, Mrs. Paulino held various positions in the veterinary medicine field. She earned a BS in Chemistry from Quinnipiac University and completed her MS in Chemistry at Columbia University. Nichole currently resides in Trumbull with her husband and 2 children.
